Epic Sale of WWII Novels

The eagerly-awaited film “Dunkirk”, directed by Christopher Nolan, premiers very soon. To celebrate the release, 40+ authors of the Facebook Second World War Club have joined up to put together a Dunkirk Week WWII Epic Novel Sale – a real reading feast for devotees of WWII fiction.

From 21st to 27th July (the opening week of “Dunkirk”), a selection of books will be discounted to 99p (99c) to bring you riveting tales of WWII from around the world. Not all of the books are set at Dunkirk, but they all take place during WWII, so this is a great opportunity to discover a wide range of WWII stories. To find out more, click here.

Many fun and interesting online events are planned throughout the week, including:

We moved to an 18th-century farmhouse in SW France in 1997. I'm fascinated by French history, rural traditions and customs. I also write historical novels and short stories.

You’ll find plenty of WWII promotions going on, Cy. Get yourself into the FB WWII readers group if you’re not already – from which you can also get into the WWII authors group. They often do joint promotions. I am not really a WWII author – yet – but I contributed to a WWII anthology last year and plan more WWII stuff – so I have an entrée there.

Also on Goodreads there’s a WWII group. Well worth joining. Hope this helps.
