Just a reminder that you have about three weeks to submit a fictional short story to Writers Abroad for publication in an anthology of the same name, to be published in support of UK National Short Story Week (NSSW). You must be, or have been, an expat.
Following on from the success of 100 Stories for Haiti, which was published in aid of the international relief effort following the Haiti disaster earlier this year, the energetic Greg McQueen is publishing 50 Stories for Pakistan. The April issue of Words with JAM is now out. This is a great mag; there’s something in it for everyone, from short stories and poetry to articles about writing a non-fiction proposal or setting up a blog.
Words with JAM has chosen my entry as a winner in their ‘humorous first lines’ competition. The winning entries will be published in the next issue, due out on 30 March.
